iām harp!
I look up. A lot.
I was introduced to the world of architecture at such a young age, sometimes I can't remember how I experienced life without it.
My first instinct when going somewhere new is to look up, and imagine the conversations and decisions that led to the results we see. It led so much of my curiosity as I formally began my journey in architecture. Throughout my architectural education I explored those feelings of wonder and excitement, freely and playfully.
My journey to becoming an architect took some unexpected turns, but with the help of generous and kind mentors, I now look to pass it along. As my passion for supporting other emerging professionals has grown, so has my support in the development of local students. This has led to my involvement in the local architecture schools and serving as Vice President on the board of AIA San Joaquin. Volunteering and participating in the continuation of helping other develop their careers has deepened my passion for the profession.
Even now, years into this journey, I find myself looking up. Still excited, still curious.
